Overview
Shop floor Supervisor Perm Dudley to £33K DOE (standard day shift) I am recruiting for an experienced supervisor/team-leader to oversee and manage a team of mechanical assemblers and electrical fitters building electrical enclosures and control panels. Keys to the role are good man-management skills, a background in electrical and mechanical assembly and ideally experience in busbar fitting. You will also have some experience of working with copper (for the busbars). Responsibilities will include: Manage and mentor a team of mechanical and electrical fitters Continued training and upskilling the team of fitters (including apprentices) Manage overtime in the area Measure the hours in order to improve efficiency in the area Prepare jobs (including parts) ready for the team Check work ready for sign off and complete paperwork and reports Work with engineering to look at improvements to products Orion Electrotech Ltd acts as both an Employment Business and Employment Agency and complies with the Conduct of Employment Agencies and Employment Businesses Regulations Act 2003.
