Overview
Our client is looking for an individual to fill an Office Admin role within their Finance department. The right candidate will have a proactive attitude and excellent organisational skills. This role will be involved in every department of the company. Responsibilities: Owning all office/building requirements: Building maintenance requirements e.g. lift maintenance Parking liaison for office staff with Guildford Borough Council Point of contact with any building contracts Kitchen requirements Handling all staff requirements: Liaise with staff and Finance regarding any ad hoc purchases - credit card spend, PO raising/reconciliation Staff accommodation as and when required Staff travel as and when required Organise new contracts for new staff members and manage employee files Finance Roles including but not limited to: Credit Control 2 days a week - liaising with other finance members Setting up payments Contacting suppliers for invoices Help organising quarterly staff updates with other staff members Ad hoc help as required by finance team - this may include some analysis/data work including excel however this will be explained. This role is broad and changes as required, offering a wide range of experience. The right candidate must be adaptable, hardworking and ready to take on board any challenges that arise, whatever the situation. HR is something that would be desirable and a candidate wanting to study CIPD would receive study support. Requirements: High organisational skills Good people skills Adaptable Previous admin/finance experience desirable First Aid & Fire Warden trained or willingness to go on relevant courses Willingness to undergo security vetting
