Overview
Fantastic opportunity to secure a two-month work from home contract working on a major hyperscale data centre project. Due to a major project win we are looking for a Senior Mechanical (HVAC) Design Engineer with experience of data centre projects and the ability to work from home to provide mechanical design expertise to a well established M&E Design Consultancy who have recently won a major data centre project. THE COMPANY · International Building Services Design Consultancy based in Central London. · Diverse project experience but they are specialists within the mission critical sector and are enjoying huge success in this area. · Major projects in the UK and overseas. · Fully set up for remote working KEY RESPONSIBILITIES · The Senior Mechanical Design Engineer will be working within the M&E Design Team undertaking HVAC services design, on large scale mission critical projects. · Prepare concept design from RIBA stage 2 and 3 · Supporting other members of the team. SKILLS AND BACKGROUND · Ideally Degree or Equivalent Qualified in Mechanical Design or Building Services Engineering. · Working knowledge of UK standards. · Consultancy Design experience with working knowledge of hyperscale data centre projects. · Must have the ability to work effectively from home.
