Senior Integration Developer
Overview
The Nottingham is a top 10 Building Society and we are heavily investing in our IT systems and are amidst a key and exciting time with a large change agenda. We have a brand new opportunity for an Integration Developer to join our Technology and Change team This role is a key to the growth of the society’s technological strategy and the role holder will be at the centre of delivering new functionality and projects. It will not just be about delivering code, you will also be involved in making key technological decisions whilst remaining hands on. If you want to grow your Java and ESB knowledge while growing your wider technical knowledge this could be the role for you. We have an open and collaborative working culture at The Nottingham and you’ll be supported in your new role by our superb IT Development Manager…. we’re happy to talk flexible working too The role - In a nutshell the role is to build and maintain our ESB technology (Talend). Our ESB integrates our Salesforce CRM platform and with 3rd party systems such as government agencies and credit reference agencies. The expectation on this role is not just to build integration functionality and API’s it is taking a wider look building to NFRs and Service as well as ensuring best practice across the development team is embedded and maintained. Key priorities in this role - •Building new Integrations – working on green field developments •Maintaining and extending existing capabilities •Keeping ahead of technology ensuring the society are getting the most out of their investments (Technology) •Ensuring Coding standards and release management standards are maintained and enhanced Your skills - •Experience of development in either .NET or JAVA •Experience of development with Talend or other ESB technology (e.g. Tibco, Mule) •Strong experience of designing and developing APIs •Strong Experience of automated unit and integration testing •Strong customer focus and a passionate interest to learn new business processes •A logical thinker with a high problem solving capability The Nottingham, who are we?
