Overview
London A global real estate business is seeking an experienced project accountant to join their Finance function as a project accountant for a 3-month contract, based in London. The business is currently conducting multiple offshoring and system implementation projects, due to this they require the project accountant to have strong knowledge in finance projects, management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations and process improvement experience. Role Responsibilities: Support the finance director with the annual budget Produce monthly forecasts, monitor costs and expenses relating to the company Assist in the production of month end actuals for review Track costs and expenses against budgets and produce monthly forecast for review Assist in reconciliation of accounts payable and accounts receivable Ensure all revenue streams are reported in a timely and effective manner Assist in the population and production of all month end reports including comparison of actuals to budget / forecast Experience: 2 years working experienced gained in a relevant environment with a proven track record of working with construction valuations Experience in preparation of management accounts Qualified Accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA or similar) Systems Skills: Advanced Microsoft Excel
