Overview

Our client within the Defence and Military sector are seeking a Finance Analyst to join their finance team for 6 months initially. This will be working with the businesses largest contract which and offers the opportunity to work on different teams e.g. HR, Procurement and IT to name a few. Client Details Our client is an organisation based in Emersons Green, Bristol with an enviable reputation amongst it's competitors. Description As a Finance Analyst you will be responsible for the following duties: Manage the monthly cost planning, reporting and analysis cycle for the program, including monthly forecast updates to the Budget to provide a Rolling Forecast for the customer Production of the monthly financial Outturn Report for the customer, working with subsidiaries and other analysts to ensure integrity of actual, budget and forecast financial information Support Head of Finance in preparation of slide deck and analysis for monthly meetings with customers Support in production of rolling forecast for Corporate Partner non-finance managers to ensure sound understanding of cost drivers and performance vs Budget Profile As a Finance Analyst you should be able to demonstrate the following skill sets and behaviours: Drive, Enthusiasm and Determination to succeed in whatever they do Ability to delver results on time, working to deadlines and targets Need to have a team player mindset Ability to consolidate, interrogate and manage high volumes of financial information, and interfacing of data with financial systems Strong MS Excel skills, comfortable interrogating and managing high volumes of financial information Strong mathematical, analytical, strategic, and reasoning skills as well as the ability to create and communicate complex business models/solutions Job Offer On offer to the candidate will be a 6 month FTC as a Finance Analyst paying up to £25,500 per annum, with the potential for a permanent contract for the right individual.
