Overview
Here is a great opportunity for an experienced CIMA/ACCA part qualified accountant to undertake a exciting new challenge within a highly successful UK organisation. Reference: HT13270 Management Accountant - About the role Reporting to the Head of Finance the Management Accountant will be responsible for annual budgeting & forecasting and will produce accurate and timely management accounting to aid business decision making. Key duties include: Produce monthly management accounts including profit & loss and cashflow forecasting Schedule regular budget control meetings and perform monthly variance analysis Weekly KPIs and financial reporting for the senior management team Assist the Head of Finance with the development of a clear financial strategy Continually seek to drive process and systems improvements Month end journals and balance sheet reconciliations Maintenance of the fixed asset register VAT returns Provide assistance in year end audits Management Accountant - About You The successful applicant for the Management Accountant position will be actively studying ACCA or CIMA and have a minimum of 2 years relevant experience Will be an excellent relationship builder Strong Excel skills Keen eye for detail Management Accountant - Benefits 25 days holiday Generous study package Free parking Flexible working Howett Thorpe are acting as a recruitment agency in relation to this role and comply with all relevant UK legislation and do not discriminate on any protected characteristics.
