Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) // £60,000 - £80,000 // Central London Evolving the DevOps methodology in a tech focussed organisation, pushing Kubernetes, latest Cloud environments and automation. You will be joining one of the fastest growing startups in London – having already secured numerous rounds of funding and opening offices across Europe. With a very diverse environment welcoming those from consulting, start-up, self-taught or university educated; the cross-functional engineering team are perfectionists and take pride is stretching their intellectual muscles across various languages and new technologies. The goal of the Production Systems team is to have a fully automated and self-service, highly scalable, efficient and reliable infrastructure. As a Site Reliability Engineer in this team you will be ensuring the team reliably builds and operates infrastructure, as a code, that keeps the company’s platform always available. Requirements: Experience across any of the following Java / Scala / Python / GO Knowledge of Unix/Linux systems, with experience working with the shell, the kernel, system libraries, file systems, and client-server protocols Understanding of Kubernetes / Docker or similar Cloud as a Service environments Experience with Cloud hosting and monitoring tools like Kibana Able to use build tools like Make/Maven/CMake Experience building CI/CD pipelines and enabling automation infrastructure able to design and implement systems with OOP principles Core Technical Stack within the company: Java 8, Microservices, Spring Boot, Scala, Kafka, Cassandra, ReactJS, Redux, D3, MySQL, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Git, Helm, Terraform, Elasticsearch, TDD/BDD, Linux This job was originally posted as www.totaljobs.com/job/89679662
