Home Laundry Field Service Engineers - (Domestic Appliances/White Goods) Working for Whirlpool Salary: Up to £24.368.00 This is an excellent opportunity to join Manpower Group Solutions supporting a leading manufacturer which offers excellent training for the selected engineers. Whirlpool are a market leading and highly innovative organisation which supplies a wide range of domestic and commercial electro-mechanical white goods to a UK wide residential customer base. We currently have vacancies within your area focused on attracting local and regional field service engineers. The Role will involve working from home and travelling to residential customers to carry out the required service call request as issued by the client customer service desk. The wide and varied product range will ensure you increase your technical knowledge, keeping you challenged, interested and motivated as you develop your technical ability. You will be expected to work to the provided schedule and complete a minimum number of 5 service requests per day. Benefits include an annual salary up to £24,368.00, this is subject to location and experience (London weighting will apply). Full product training is provided by Whirlpool with all accommodation and travel expenses covered. All tools will be provided, and applicants will receive a company vehicle (for business use only) as well as holiday pay and sick cover under ManpowerGroup UK Terms and Conditions. Duration of Contract: 12 months with further extensions and potential permanent placements subject to performance and client business needs. Candidate Profile A Full UK Driving Licence, with no more than 6 fixed penalty points. As this is a physical role successful applicants must deem themselves physically fit and have a natural interest in electromechanical engineering. You should have good basic electrical knowledge at ohms law level. Good customer service skills are essential as you will be face to face with customers daily and also basic IT skills are required as you will be using a smart phone and a company tablet. Experience in either product installation and basic repair is not essential but will benefit your application and QA testing would also be an advantage.
