We are looking for compassionate Healthcare Assistants, who want to provide quality care and make a difference for the elderly and frail in our society, working alongside a team of Healthcare Assistants who are committed to promoting dignity and independence for all residents in care homes. Training and support will be facilitated for new Healthcare Assistants and Senior Healthcare Assistants, who have little or no previous experience within the care home sector. What you can expect • Free care induction after your training • Exceptional support from our office staff and our existing team of Healthcare Assistants Healthcare Assistant Duties Include: ·Providing person-centred personal care, such as toileting, washing and dressing, with dignity ·Interacting with residents and ensuring they are comfortable ·Observing and reporting any change in residents’ conditions to a senior Health Care Assistant (after your training) ·Supporting residents with various activities and assisting at meal times, to ensure residents have their meals ·Supporting visiting families and friends, when necessary and as they may request, or informing the senior in charge of such requests Desirable ·Anyone can learn to become a Healthcare Assistant ·You can join us with or without caring experience within the care sector or NVQs’ in health and social care You can if you want Working Hours: Very flexible – you only work when you want and can Variable hours from [6 hrs - 48 hours per week] / ( alternate weekends ) Day and night shifts are available Payment: Very Important You get paid EVERY FRIDAY (you have money in your pocket) - Enhanced rates of pay for bank holidays As a Healthcare Assistant you can be the highlight of somebody’s day. You’ll do it all with the full support of our fantastic team of office staff and existing care assistants. Below are some examples of what our clients may need your support with, as a care assistant: Light cleaning, laundry, shopping, meal preparation, medication, personal care, help to get dressed, washing and bathing, feeding, medical appointments, day centre visits and social activities.
