Overview

We are currently recruiting enthusiastic Support Workers for a residential service, based in the Halesowen area. The service is home to four individuals who all have PMLD (profound multiple learning disabilities) and associated needs. Hence, it is preferable that candidates have experience of supporting people with similar needs, experience of using hoists and in date manual handling training. Any experience of supporting individuals who have non-verbal communication methods would also be desirable. This service would suit someone who thrives in a busy environment, as the supported individuals enjoy a full and varied activity schedule; including regular trips to the cinema and theatre. Candidates would need to be comfortable and confident in providing support with full personal care. Shift patterns are as follows: (Days) 7am- 9pm 7am- 2pm 2pm- 9pm (Nights) 9.45- 71.15 If this sounds like an opportunity you might be interested in and you feel you meet the requirements of this role; we would be really interested to hear from you.
