Data Engineer - London My client owns three of the leading price comparison websites in Europe and is looking for a Data Engineer to join their Data Analytics team in their central London HQ ROLE This will see you joining a team of 8 (Data Engineers, Data analysts & Developers) as a Data Engineer playing a pivotal role in the development of a marketing automation platform to capture marketing opt-in and marketing-related customer data. This system manages a database of several million customers and is a mission-critical piece of a multi-million pound revenue stream Data Engineer can expect to build data pipelines and end to end solutions, paving the way for data science applications across the business. REQUIREMENTS Previous successful experience as a data engineer building, designing, refactoring or optimising data lakes and data warehouses from a variety of data sources Strong understanding of Data Warehousing (ETL, Schemas etc) and data modelling Advanced SQL experience Experience with the Google Cloud Platforms (BigQuery, Cloud Composer etc) Experience with Job Orchestration Tools such as Airflow, Luigi. Oozie etc Any exposure to Argo/Kubernetes desirable Skills with data visualisation tools such as Tableau, Looker desirable OFFER Salary up to £80,000 10% bonus Share Scheme 25 days holiday ( buy/sale & 1 day off extra for birthday) Healthcare Pension Vouchers/Discounts And more….
