The vacancies are for many Customer Service Advisors to add to the already significant frontline staff working hard to help keep members of the public safe. With the ability to listen intently, explain things clearly, find solutions to problems efficiently and converse comfortably and naturally with people over the phone, you'll be a great fit for the customer service team. Crucial to this role will be your natural inclination to want to help, be patient and support others in their time of need. Outstanding Customer Service Advisors may not always have specific Customer Service qualifications, but they are always people who want to know that they have done everything in their power to help their callers feel listened to, helped and supported. Become a key worker on the frontline of the vital support services as a Customer Service Advisor. Key Responsibilities Receiving incoming calls from a variety of people, their friends or their family to assist with specific worries and concerns. Accurately capturing data and entering it into the relevant systems. Provide a quality service that reassures and maintains a calm and productive solution-based conversation. Embrace in house training and development opportunities. Essential Skills & Attributes Excellent verbal communication skills. The ability to engage with, reassure and build trust-based connections with a wide variety of people. Customer focused, empathetic and understanding nature. Strong listening skills. Problem solving abilities. IT literate. Fluent in both written and spoken English. Accuracy and attention to detail. Experience working in busy fast paced environment. A positive can do and flexible attitude. Dedication to completing a high standard of work under pressure. Reliable and dedicated to being part of a team. As a member of this proactive and skilled Customer Service team you will be taking calls from people from all walks of life in a time where they will be feeling vulnerable and concerned. Strong data entry skills and the confidence to talk to people with empathy, understanding and a clear level head while entering information into a system quickly and accuracy will be a vital skill set in this role. The skills you develop in this position will be transferrable to many other roles and employers making you a strong candidate for future positions and career development opportunities. There are two shift patterns available, one being a day shift between 8am and 5pm and the second shift available is a late shift between 1pm and 10pm Monday to Sunday with two days out of the seven off per week. Your place of work will be in the S63 area of Rotherham, the contact centre is located amidst countryside, however there are fantastic onsite facilities available to all staff including parking and a well-equipped staff restaurant.
