Overview

Job Title: 1st Line Engineer Industry: IT software Rate: £100 - £120 Contract: 6 months Start Date: ASAP Location: Manchester The Role: Responding to queries via the helpdesk platform, email or phone Troubleshooting and diagnosing problems Providing technical assistance for questions and problems Diagnosing system errors and other issues Following up with users to ensure full resolution of issues Running reports to analyse common complaints and problems Installing or changing software to fix issues Remotely accessing hardware or software for users to make changes and fix problems Skills: Must have previous experience in a similar role Ticketing Systems Experience of incident management, trend tracking towards problem identification working to agreed service levels and standards Experience support Windows Experience of training others in the use of computer software and equipment, ideally in an educational setting Hardware set up skills Active Directory Software installation Mobile device knowledge Multi-function printing/scanning Customer service skills, communication skills, problem solving skills, troubleshooting skills If you feel like you are the perfect candidate for this job role or feel this is the ideal role for you - then please send in your updated CV over, along with two references.
