Overview
We are exclusively partnering with this group to appoint an experienced Group Financial Controller/Group Reporting Manager from a Plc background. Reporting to their Group Finance Director and overseeing several companies the remit of the role is as follows: Key attributes - ACA/ACCA qualified - PLC experience - Accounting technician with experience of: - Monthly and year end Group consolidation (UK Group therefore multi currency not a requirement) - Reporting under IFRS and implementing new standards essential - Also UK GAAP knowledge - All aspects of the production of "glossy" accounts and working closely with Stakeholders both internally and externally - Preparation of reports and analysis for Audit Committee and plc Board - Liaising directly with auditors at a senior level - Supporting inexperienced (in respect of Group reporting) divisional finance teams - hands on requirement to prepare and review audit working papers - Working to tight deadlines - Excellent excel skills - Sage 50/200 experience highly desired - ERP review, implementation etc. very useful (Accuserve experience would be excellent) - Self-motivated and can "hit the ground running" You will be ACA/ACCA/CPA or CIMA Qualified with a strong background in PLC reporting including IFRS, 'Glossy' reporting, multi company consolidations, staff supervision and strong systems experience. You must be more or less immediately available to start with the company. Maybe you’ve just finished a contract under IR35 and this is the opportunity you are looking for on a Permanent basis.
