CSI provides Operations and Maintenance support for the Intelligence Community Job Description: CSI will support Echelon-1 Operations and maintenance for a multi-contractor team of 4 Hardware System Engineers for a new project being stood up near Leeds, England. This position requires a two year commitment on site, with some travel to other CONUS and OCONUS locations. Selectee will be required to participate in training and readiness activities at Washington, DC area LM program locations prior to deployment. The program will provide Operations and Maintenance (O&M) support for a large, integrated hardware/software system in support of a government customer. The work being performed will consist of planned and ad hoc hardware/systems engineering tasks on customized special application systems, including system analysis, testing/integration of new deliveries, discrepancy identification and work-off, and eventual 24x7 real-time operations and echelon-one maintenance support to the customer's mission. In addition to hands-on support to site O&M activities, selectee will also need to provide occasional backup for the Site Lead's team oversight and host customer interface roles. Candidate will be required to perform periodic off-hour, weekend and short-turnaround call-in support during all phases of training, deployment, readiness and steady state operations. Applicant selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Required Skills: •Engineering experience with RF communication antennas and associated transmit and receive hardware systems, including wide-band applications •Experience with custom-built and COTs-based high speed networks, IT systems, and real-time software applications supporting communications systems •IAT level 1 or 2 certification (can be attained once hired if not currently certified) • Must possess a current TS/SCI Security Clearance with a CI Poly Desired Skills: •Echelon-one maintenance experience on real-time operations systems •Knowledge and experience with facility support systems for RF ground terminal systems (power, HVAC, etc.) •Direct experience or interface with RF communication systems development program •Experience with elements of program and site startup, particularly at remote locations •Experience leading small, multi-functional teams with limited supervision •Excellent communication and customer interface skills •Ability to effectively work closely with co-contractor teammates at multiple levels Required Education (including Major): •University Degree in a related field plus a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant work experience This position requires a U.S. Person. 157264 Business Unit Profile Intelligence, Information and Services delivers innovative technology to make the world a safer place.
