Senior .NET Software Engineer | Manchester Up to £60,000 Fantastic Benefits Bonus Remote Working (C#, .NET CORE 2.0, Akka.NET, SQL, PostgreSQL) Senior .NET Software Engineer opening with a global company who create market leading web-based insight products. The role is based in central Manchester with easy commuting links. This is a rare chance for two experienced Senior Developers to take the next step in their career, to take high level ownership of the development of data-centric, enterprise level web systems and to work with a high-calibre distributed team of engineers. You will be responsible for designing and develop complex Cloud Native applications using a range of languages and tools, as well as developing rigorous automated tests, working closely with engineering, product and QA teams in an agile environment. To be considered for this role you will have: Experience in the design, development, and testing of systems applications using .NET Core 2.0, Asp.NET Core 2.0, C#, LINQ, Caching and Asynchronous Frameworks (TPL, async/await) and SQL/ PostgreSQL A thorough understanding of the principles of OO Development, Design Patterns, SOA and Micro-Services. Experience developing applications using TDD, ATDD or BDD, e.g. xUnit, NUnit or Specflow. Knowledge of Agile and associated development techniques such as Refactoring, Unit Testing, Continuous Integration and Delivery, Acceptance Test Driven Development The role is based in central Manchester with easy commuting links. You will receive 25 days leave, a great bonus scheme and a flexible benefits package. On the last Friday of the month the whole company finish at 2pm, and 4pm on all other Fridays.
