A privately owned pub located in the Scarborough region is recruiting for a Sous Chef Role: A high quality, fresh food pub is seeking a Sous Chef to join the talented, small team of chefs working in the kitchen.The pub offers its customers ‘a la carte’ menus for lunch and dinner featuring modern British dishes prepared to one AA Rosette standards.As Sous Chef you will be required to be capable of working on all sections as well as stepping up and running the kitchen in the Head Chefs absence.This role will also allow you to have an input onto the menus, bringing ideas to the menu planning sessions. Requirements: A Sous Chef or strong Junior Sous Chef who has been working in properties with at least one AA Rosette is needed for this role.It is important that you have all round skills in the kitchen with the ability to work across the sections but can also run service times when needed to and assist with the day to day running of the kitchen.
