Job Title - Insurance Internal Broker Relationship Manager Contract - Permanent Location - Lancashire Salary - £20,000 - £25,000 Industry - Insurance Company About the role: ·You will manage a panel of 90-120 brokers through proactive telephone based contact and supporting the Sales Manager. Your key objective will be to profitably grow our client's account through development and strong relationship management, both internal and external. As first point of contact for your brokers, you will be an advocate of our client's broker proposition and be targeted to help develop your customers' business. ·You will already be an experienced and highly motivated Account Manager or Underwriter looking for a more ambitious and successful company with better long term prospects. Duties: ·Manage the Commercial Intermediary element of the broker relationship both externally and with our client's Internal functions for allocated Panel to deliver all financial KPIs. ·Support the delivery of the overall branch plan. ·Preparing annual Key Account Plans and ensuring delivery against this plan. ·Managing the relationship in accordance with our client's governance procedures ensuring that our service delivery complies with regulatory requirements. ·Responsibility for a panel of brokers, pro-actively managing the relationship and developing business opportunities to actively grow GWP and Profitability. ·Conduct site visits as appropriate to build effective trading relationships with brokers. ·Act as liaison between Brokers and underwriters to provide effective service to brokers. ·Ensuring that our service delivery complies with regulatory requirements. ·Understanding and helping to prepare, design, implement and review a broker's strategic development plans. ·Reviewing progress of initiatives against plan and taking remedial action as appropriate. ·Understanding the nature of the panel broker's business, the marketplace and the extent and potential of the relationship. ·Identify New Business opportunities within existing panel. Maximise the use of development tools available to secure profitable growth. ·Ensuring realisation of profitable relationship including an appropriate remuneration package and credit control standards.
