Job Title: Commercial Trading Underwriter (Corporate Team) Location: Birmingham Package: GBP25,000 - GBP35,000 Industry: Insurance Type: Permanent _________________________________________________________________________________ One of the UK markets leading insurance providers is looking to recruit a Commercial Trading Underwriter to contribute to the growth targeting the mid-corporate marketplace. The Company This global business is one of the most respected names in the insurance industry. The business is financially very strong, allowing continued growth in the West Midlands market place. The Role You will join a team tasked with handling existing business, underwriting profitable corporate business. You will be underwriting and trading renewals and identifying cross sell opportunities to grow your existing book You must contribute towards delivering renewal retention and organic growth targets This is very much a trading role, working with the market and given the autonomy and authority to make commercial and underwriting decisions You Experience within commercial classes of insurance is essential, charities insurance experience would be desirable. Existing market relationships are an advantage, although not essential as our client is well known in the market place Dip CII or work towards is preferred but not essential.
