This role is a fixed-term contract for 6 months Based in our global headquarters in St. James’s, in this fantastic opportunity you will support HR with administration and coordination support to manage the implementation of global HR processes across T&S, that drive organisational performance and support the achievement of the organisation’s strategy. You might already be an HR Officer (or more typically an HR / Recruitment Coordinator or Administrator) in a start-up or highly matrix, global company and looking to play an integral part in HR processes, as well as stakeholder management. The purpose of Technical & Sustainability (T&S) in Anglo American is to represent and drive the future of mining, as the technical experts and innovators of the company - and industry. The T&S function is globally located and works in partnership with Business Units and other Group functions, to safely ensure technical and operational excellence that delivers to the company’s growth and sustainability ambitions and clear societal purpose. Job Description As an HR Officer within this collaborative and fast-paced team you’ll be responsible for; Undertaking administration for core HR employee life cycle process including new starter offer and onboarding process. Supporting HR Advisors with the preparation of Request for Recruitment forms for their review. Administering and coordinating candidate psychometric assessments via the Career profile tool. Updating all employee data sources with new employee details and role changes. (SAP system set up and changes, smartsheet reporting) Checking all data sources on a monthly basis to ensure the information has updated. Leading recruitment activities for Rest of World countries not covered by RPO scope - initial attraction, sourcing, candidate identification & interview co-ordination. Supporting line managers during first-round interviews where required. Knowledge and experience of Working within a Human Resources administrative function SAP HR or similar ERP systems LinkedIn Recruitment tools Supporting a busy team with multiple stakeholders Leveraging advanced knowledge of Microsoft packages SAP - user skills including understanding of SAP HR modules UK employment practices and laws Commitment to safety Displaying strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and multitask essential Operating effectively under pressure Taking the initiative - with examples of Striving to do things significantly better This role is in the Technical & Sustainability Unit at a Band 7 level reporting to the HR Advisor T&S What we offer When you join Anglo American, you can expect to enjoy a competitive salary and benefits package.
