Overview

IT and Computing Services Senior Desktop Developer Ref: ALC998 £33,797 to £40,322 per annum This is an exciting opportunity for driven and motivated IT desktop developers to join a successful team delivering core infrastructure services and end-user device solutions to the University. You will have responsibilities for the development and maintenance of the end-user computing environment, including the supporting architecture. This includes selection of new systems, upgrades and maintenance, security, applications & tools, fault resolution, testing, documentation, support and training. You will require an IT related degree (or equivalent) or equivalent experience, along with demonstrable experience of systems development, including expert experience of managing and deploying an enterprise-level secure desktop infrastructure.
