The Role As a Web Analytics Developer, you will be responsible for improving the quality and integrity of data across a number of marketing platforms. You’ll manage our tag management solution and work with marketing teams across the business to implement tags and tracking, audit our existing set up and identify gaps and improve upon our current implementation. Working alongside the test team you’ll also work to develop a set of automated tests and improve data integrity across the business. Responsibilities & Requirements Working in the development team, you will be responsible for improving the quality and integrity of data across a number of marketing platforms, including; Management of our tag management solution Tag management audit Management of our product data feeds Build our automated tests and improve data integrity across the business What you will do You’ll work together with our developers to set up tracking via Datalayer in order to configure events and tags in our tag manager, creating tags using JavaScript which will feed from our tag manager to our analytics suite. Implement analytics tags, marketing tags and custom code using JavaScript within our tag management solution Improve tag publishing process and user management / access Work with Analytics and development teams to add and fix data capture points to improve current tracking set up Assist the web analytics manager on Adobe Analytics platform development, in particular adding new tracking and improving data capture Audit legacy tags, data points and current tag management solution Support our Marketing team with campaign tracking and integration with our bid management platform and product data feeds Assist with the delivery of the future Paid Media roadmap of additional functionality required to optimize performance Improve testing and release processes to ensure data integrity across multiple platforms Work with testing team on building out analytics and marketing focused automated tests to expand current test coverage Ensure automated tests are run as part of all key web changes across company sites Reduce downtime and drop offs in data across marketing platforms What We’re After Experience and extensive knowledge of JavaScript is essential Experience using tag management systems for example (Google Tag Manager, Adobe Launch, Ensighten or a similar platform) Understanding of marketing and data collection platforms such as Adobe Analytics, Google Adwords and Google Analytics Experience and understanding of automated testing suites 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role The Benefits We offer a competitive salary and benefits package of £30,000 - £40,000 per year 25 days holiday plus bank holidays Based in the heart of Manchester (St Peters Square) Great office environment with a pool table and games room, free tea, Nespresso coffee and fresh fruit Flexible working hours with the option to work from home Personal development plans and tailored career path Start-up feel at our newly established Manchester Tech Hub Company paid benefits including life assurance, income protection, pension, etc. 5% annual company bonus 30 strong e-commerce development team Optional benefits including cycle to work scheme, well-being treatments, restaurant card, activity pass, gym discounts, city centre discount card etc. Next Steps Like the sound of us?
