Overview

Company overview: A FTSE listed Media business, continuously growing through natural expansion and targeted acquisitions. The Group operates globally across Europe, North America and the APAC region. Going through a Financial Transformation at the moment this is a fantastic time to be joining their business. Role: The Head of Group Reporting will manage the entirety of the Group Reporting function, managing 4 direct reports and overseeing the half-yearly reporting, monthly consolidations, CFO packs and Cashflow reporting. Key stakeholders include; the CFO, Group FD, Director of Business Partnering and Director of M&A. Responsibilities: Manage a team of 4 qualified accountants. Oversee the consolidation process, putting together the monthly CFO pack. Lead the half-yearly external reporting. Look for improvement orotundities with the existing policies & controls. Engage with the financial transformation team in system upgrades/improvements. Provide advice on M&A deals and restructuring activity. Profile: ACA qualified from a Big 4 audit background. Minimum of 6-8 years of post qualified experience, ideally in a similar sized listed business. Experience of HFM and large ERP systems (SAP, Oracle or Netsuite). Demonstrable team management experience within a group function. What's on offer? An initial 6 month contract with the potential to go permanent. Offering a competitive salary/day rate of £90-110k or £500-550 p/d (Umbrella/PAYE).
