Overview
A1 Jobs Limited have a variety of temporary care assistant roles for a number of care homes in the West Midlands. Due to the current pandemic, we are looking to recruit experienced care workers to work in either a care home setting or as a residential worker, visiting the elderly in their homes. You will need to be a friendly, empathetic and supportive person who shows great ambition in the work you carry out. As care assistant you will be joining a friendly team with a supportive and committed manager. The care assistant role involves supporting the elderly and those with dementia and assisting them in receiving person centered care that meets their specific needs. You will also have the opportunity to support them in memory and reminiscence tasks and help them achieve their daily tasks and desires. You will also be required to assist them with their personal care needs when necessary and administer medication according to their care plan Successful applicants will have an NVQ Level 2 in health and social care (or equivalent). You will also have experience working with the elderly or those with dementia. You will also need to be DBS cleared.
