Job Description
We are seeking a highly-skilled, motivated and experienced Registered Manager to start and develop a new Registration in Wolverhampton and surrounding areas. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth of this thriving and exciting care organisation. The role will be developing and managing all aspects of fostering resources. You should be a qualified social worker, who has a broad depth of experience of working with Looked After children and Foster Carers. Foster Care Manager Duties and Responsibilities: * Building and managing a staff team * Quality Assurance * Business Development * Budget Management * Staff Training * Involvement in strategic planning, business development and contribution to business plans * Researching opportunities for improving services or new initiatives to aid business growth * Regular meetings with Local Authority managers, developing and maintaining good working relationships * Being responsible for the professional development of social work practice and line management responsibility to the team covering the 24/7 operation Requirements * A recognised Social Work qualification (Degree/Diploma) * Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) * Significant experience of managing a Fostering team * Experience of working for an Independent Fostering Agency * An excellent knowledge and understanding of the current legislation and frameworks relevant to Children Social Care and Fostering * Drivers License Benefits * 6,000 BONUS * 30 Days' Annual Leave + Bank Holidays * Company Pension Salary: 30,000 - 40,000 dependent on experience and qualifications Closing date: Friday 15th November 2019 Interview: ASAP Contact: Amandeep at Job Paths 4 U Job Paths 4 U is an Employment Agency and an Employment Business.
