If you share these values and have transferable skill, we want to meet you! HMP Oakwood is the largest prison in Europe, holding 2106 Category C male offenders. HMP Oakwood's large modern healthcare facilities enable us to deliver "Exceptional Care" to our patient group. We provide a range of both physical and psychosocial health care service, including long term conditions, primary care, wound care, sexual health, mental health services, substance misuse, social care and pharmacy. Examples include ANP, BBV, sexual health, plastering, ILS (intermediate life support), health promotion, phlebotomy, vaccinations, suturing, wound care, RCGP, and long term condition courses. Previous experience in district or practice nursing, surgical/medical and/or A&E would be highly desirable. What can we offer you? As a Registered Adult Nurse you will be an integral part of the healthcare team by bringing your top notch clinical skills and passion for care. You could be involved in anything from developing and leading clinics, undertaking examinations and tests as well as answering emergency calls and potentially being the first person to attend an emergency. You'll receive an annual salary of up to 33,000 FTE, depending on experience; free uniform, free mandatory training, indemnity cover, CPD and re-validation support. The role will involve shift work over a 7-day period to include weekends and Bank holidays. We offer 25-days annual leave plus 8 public holidays (pro-rata for part time) and contributory pension scheme.
