Overview
Salford Reports to: Operations Manager Shifts: 6.00am- 14.00pm / 14.00pm- 22.00pm Rotating IPS – UK market leader in Contract Packing IPS provides the most extensive pool of Contract Packing equipment and expertise available in the UK. IPS continues to grow and is now widely integrated and embedded within operations right across the Culina Group network. The role holder will be responsible for but not limited to the following : To effectively motivate a team of people to meet production targets and maximise production efficiency Effectively use the integrated management systems (VISION) Manage health, safety and quality regulations To ensure GMP (good manufacturing practices) and housekeeping (clean as you go) are strictly adhered to Assist in the development of a skills matrix for all production workers To assist in the training and development of new starters Liaise with customers and clients as and when required. Must be prepared to cover a variety of shifts to represent the management team Responsible for the Line Leaders (indirectly) Qualifications, Skills & Experience Requirements Essential H&S L2 Qualification NVQ L2 in Team Leading or Packing Operations Experience of manufacturing machinery and processes Desirable NVQ L3 – Team Leading First Aid Fire Marshall Preferably food or packing experience If you meet the criteria above and are interested in and use to working in a fast paced organisation then click apply now and joinourwinningteam
