Page Personnel are recruiting for an Assistant Accountant to join a growing and highly successful technology business in Salford. The role will initially be temporary for 2 months with the intention to go permanent after a successful temporary period. Client Details An established and growing business who have already won multiple awards in their field. This business partners with some big brands to help provide solutions through the use of technology. Description As an Assistant Accountant, you will report directly to the Finance Manager, performing a busy and varied role within the Finance team. Duties will include but are not limited to: To ensure sales invoices are raised without error and issued in line with agreed timeframes Chasing outstanding aged debt and keeping outstanding debtor days within agreed levels Resolving queries both internally and externally around outstanding invoices Reconciliation of control account Payment of creditors in line with creditor terms on 2 x monthly pay cycles Reconciling creditor statements and dealing with account and payment queries To ensure payments made and purchase orders raised are signed off within agreed authority limit To assist Finance Manager with accurate short term cash flow forecasting and provide report information within agreed timescales To accurately record bank transactions onto accounting systems and resolving any queries in a timely manner Keep accurate records of petty cash expenditure and recording these onto the accounting system Assist Finance Manage with weekly dashboard reporting and month end reconciliations to ensure management reporting is delivered on time. Profile To be considered for this role, you must: - Be immediately available for work - Be AAT qualified - Have previous experience within a similar role - Possess strong communication skills both verbally and written Job Offer £25,000-£28,000 immediate start free parking holiday pay temporary to permanent contract
