Overview

Our Client, who is a leading supplier in their field are looking to appoint a Sales Ledger Assistant join a specialized side of their business to focus on delivering excellent Customer Service to the Channel Islands You will need to have strong communication skills and be confident in pushing back on Customers when needed. You will need to have previous experience in an Accounts based role - not necessarily Sales Ledger but have a willingness to learn and grab this role Tasks will include: Allocation of Supplier and Customer payments Period end close and run control reports Involved with Credit Control - chasing payments and completing Credit Checks You will also be involved in the following: GST returns Bank reconciliations Process and control improvements Cover across all PL /SL processes Ad hoc analysis when required To be successful in this role you will have the ability to work under pressure and using your own initiative as well as work well in a team. You will need to have strong communication skills and working knowledge of Microsoft packages including Excel.
