Overview
Our client is a long standing firm of Chartered Accountants who have been operating in North London for many years. Due to a senior member of their tax team retiring they are looking for a Tax Manager to join the department. Given the current situation they are still feeling very positive about the future and are keen to hear from candidates who have experience gained in public practice. Required Experience: Preparing tax returns for individuals, sole traders and partnerships Preparing and reviewing CT600s Providing a full and personal tax compliance service as required by the circumstances of each client Preparing tax computations for income tax and corporation tax purposes Calculating client tax liabilities Preparing letters to clients that accompany their tax returns Dealing with correspondence from HM Revenue & Customs Dealing with client tax investigations that may arise Dealing with new client administration Excellent communication skills both verbal and written Working unsupervised The following would be beneficial but is not essential: An ATT or CTA qualification (not essential) Experience with Digita tax software package, Virtual Cabinet and MS Office If you are interested in exploring new opportunities and would like to find out more information, please forward me a copy of your current CV.
