Overview
HR Careers and Nationwide recruitment service have an exciting chance to join a first class organisation and a fantastic HR team. We are seeking a talented ER Manager/ ER Consultant/ Interim HR Business Partner who will be focusing on our client EMPLOYEE RELATIONS based out of a busy prestigious office in Birmingham. This role will be an INTERIM 6 months fixed term contract. You will need an employee relations clearly outlined on your CV - please ensure you state what ER experience you have; do not leave it to assumption as it may be assumed if you don't put it down you haven't got it. Our client will consider full time or part time as the role is to start within the next 1-4 weeks. The Employee relations consultant will play a critical role in developing and maintaining trust between the business/ organisation and its employees. You will be responsible for aligning organisational strategy with employee needs, and assisting to ensure that effective people practices are successfully developed. As Employee relations consultant you will focus on: ER Case management ER Case work up to and including tribunal and dismissal creating, developing and delivering people practices maintain a positive working relationships between the business and the employees working closely with employee representatives, ensuring that policies/procedures/ processes/ practices are crystal clear and fair. employment law and how it's created maintain up-to-date awareness of legislation. This includes knowing how to respond when the employment relationship breaks down, while making sure the organisation learns from these experiences. Dealing with complex cases, such as disciplinary grievances and appeals Supporting the organisation through restructures Ensuring engagement is maintained Dealing with disputes appropriately (for example, mediation or tribunal cases) Overseeing all people practices to ensure they are legally compliant.
