Overview
We are currently looking for an experienced Registered Nurse to join a nationally recognised community health & wellbeing service in Manchester. This is an excellent opportunity for a Registered Nurse who has a passion for working in Addictions and this particular role will suit those looking for a fantastic work-life balance. The service will support people who want to change their tobacco use, offering a range of Nicotine Replacement Therapies and Pharmacotherapies and these will be provided via a direct supply model to our communities. As a Registered Nurse you will play a key role within this innovative, nurse led model, providing via specific patient group directions, direct access for service users to tobacco pharmacotherapies. As a Registered Nurse you will promote the benefits of stopping smoking and the tobacco addiction service through a variety of mechanisms to a number of identified organisations via a range of venues and events which will include: Delivery of services from a wide variety of community venues, including utilising the mobile van for service delivery. Undertake assessments, plan and deliver tobacco addiction interventions.
