Overview
Marine Insurance Analyst A unique and interesting role within the insurance division of a global investment bank. Our client provides global enterprises operating in the aviation and maritime shipping sector with an end-to-end suite of integrated finance products and asset management services, including risk & insurance. Our client supports maritime businesses of all sizes and dimensions (shipowners, shipping companies and charterers), operating tankers (crude oil, gas, chemical, product), dry bulk vessels, container vessels, container boxes, car carriers and ferries. Ideally, applicants will be required to show technical insurance knowledge and experience from a marine perspective from a broking, underwriting or claims background. Duties will include ·Validation a verification of documentation against insurance guidelines ·Request, chase and check renewal insurance certificates against requirements ·Handle/process incoming emails ·Run internal reports to monitor and prepare upcoming insurance renewal ·Produce and maintain internal listings related to certain aviation / shipping insurance ·Produce weekly or monthly or quarterly internal reporting/statistics ·Work with internal and external stakeholders to resolve queries. ·Ensure all risk information is recorded and updated. - £15 to £17 per hour / 35 hours per week / Mon - Fri - minimum 6 month contract - London, EC2 REF: 7532 MW Appointments is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
