Overview
Duties & Capabilities: - To coordinate, design or improve MI production and external reporting tools. - Work closely with senior stakeholders (Head of Operations, Senior Underwriters, C-Suite) to ensure communication remains clear and concise for new projects. - Develop reporting tools per business line across the syndicate and company market platform. - Represent the team at frequent Underwriting Performance committees and review meetings. - Demonstrate knowledge of Open Market and Delegated Authority business, consistently considering differing nuances per class of business. - Liaise with internal Underwriting teams delivering on requests and assisting with queries. - Liaise with external stakeholders such as Lloyd's and regulatory bodies. Skills Required: - Previous experience working in an Underwriting MI function. Ability to demonstrate examples of material change to portfolios or processes. - Build strong and lasting relationships around the business including the Underwriting, Claims and Actuarial functions. - Highly experienced problem solver and communicator - Strong Excel skills are essential with VBA knowledge - Demonstrable experience of working with data visualisation tools such as Power BI and/or Qlikview for dashboard building purposes - Highly numerate and analytical
