Overview

Project Support Officer 6 months Bristol based £260 - £270 Outside IR35 I am currently working with a public sector organisation who are looking to add a Project Support Officer to their team on a 6 month contract. The right candidate will have experience of Agile working, be familiar with SAP products and have had exposure to working closely with stakeholders/external delivery partners to drive the development of quality technical solutions. Deliverables Assist in delivering all aspects of a digital project or workstream from initiation through to transfer to live service and within agreed time, cost and quality constraints. Work as part of multi-disciplinary teams including product owners, software engineers, QA testers to deliver excellent new products and iterations to existing products to meet business requirements and user needs. Work closely with stakeholders and external delivery partners to understand the business requirements and drive the development of high-quality technical solutions. Follow agreed digital delivery processes to complete activities in line with agreed plans. Assist in managing risks, issues, dependencies and changes, so these can be easily tracked, reported and escalated. Work with others in team stand-ups, track work and assist in resolving blockers that may affect delivery. Collaborate with architecture, infrastructure, security to ensure design and build are fully aligned to business requirements. Manage the delivery of items into production environment with the support of others (including implementation planning and go / no go calls) Work with key stakeholders within the business to ensure good communications and close working relationships during delivery. Team Build effective and supportive relationships within teams, across the organisation and with stakeholders. Work together with others to assist the delivery of organisational strategic objectives. Share process improvements and efficiency ideas and solutions to enhance team and organisational performance. Make decisions that are in the overall interest of the organisation and the successful delivery of the strategic plan. Ensure personal and organisational data is stored and managed in line with organisational policies and procedures. Customer/Stakeholder relationships Promote the delivery of excellent customer service within teams. Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Essentials Experience of working with multi-disciplinary project teams in an IT environment, delivering changes within agreed timescales. Experience of delivery/project management and achieving completion to agreed deadlines. Relevant professional qualification at foundation level (e.g. BCS Certificate in Agile, BCS Certificate in IS Project Management, IPMA Level C Certified Project Manager) Previous experience and exposure to working with SAP HR and Success Factors products in a project support environment Desirable Experience of utilising development methodologies such as Agile. Awareness and experience of working with Security standards.
