Job Specification Highways Design Engineer Ref: VR/35591/JM About the Role: A growing a multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy, working in the transport planning, drainage and infrastructure sector, are looking to recruit an experienced Highway Design Engineer. Working with a team of Highway Design Engineers and Technicians you will be working on a variety of projects, including but not limited to major strategic highway road network infrastructure, capacity improvement and residential road development. You will be responsible for producing detailed Highway designs according to DMRB and MCHW design standards. Additionally, you will provide technical guidance to Junior Highway Engineers The ideal candidate must possess knowledge of DMRB and MCHW design standards, and experience in a project setting work to these standards. Additionally, you must have experience using Civils 3D, OpenRoads or KeyLINES. This role will be based in Manchester, with the consultancy’s office based in Central Manchester. Job Requirements: HND/HNC or BSc/MSc in Civil Engineering Strong understanding and experience working to DMRB and MCHW design standards Experience using Civils 3D, OpenRoads, KeyLines or other similar design software AutoCAD experience Achieved or working towards Chartered Status If this role is of interest do not hesitate to contact James at Critical Project Resourcing.
