Here in Aylesford, we're proud to work with some high profile clients, working to design and create innovative point of sale displays and promotional products for in-store merchandising. We’re looking for an experienced individual to join our Assembly department in the role of Team Leader. Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, you’ll be responsible for providing support, guidance and instructions to a team of operators who have been assigned to the task of packing and assembling customer orders. With a focus on health and safety processes, you’ll lead by example, ensuring that quality standards are met at all times, highlighting areas for improvement and reporting good practices to management. We’re ‘Redefining Packaging for a Changing World’ and it’ll be within your remit to review the current process with an open mind, challenging the way in which we do things in order continually improve productivity, costs and efficiencies.You’ll be conscious of deadlines and will work to ensure that our orders are packed and assembled on time, and to the highest standard. Our perfect Team Leader would have: • Proven supervisory experience with ability to lead andmotivate a team, preferably within a factory environment • Working knowledge of good health and safety practices • Proven experience of working towards KPI’s and deadlineswithin a fast-paced environment • Effective communication skills; both written and verbally • The ability to monitor, review and evaluate processes,highlighting areas for improvement to management • Strong problem solving and decision making skills What else we can offer you: • A competitive salary • 25 days holiday per annum plus bank holidays • Pension scheme • Life assurance • Learning and development opportunities • Employee discounts • Free onsite parking The hours you would work: Monday to Friday; 40 hours per week, 7.00am-3.00pm This role is being advertised by a direct employer; strictly no agencies
