Overview
Quality Control Technician Slough £20,000 to £22,000 20 Days Holiday Bank Holidays Pension Potential Overtime Opportunities. 45 hours a week working 5 days out of 7 (will include weekends) Mid Shift- 13.30PM to 21.30PM. Quality Control Technician is required for a well-established food manufacturer who truly value their staff and can offer a long term stability. To apply for the role, you will come from a food-based background and have experience in ANY food-based role where you have been involved in quality checks, documentation or similar. Those coming from a manufacturing environment are highly desired. You will need to be confident quality checking finished products as well as checking products whilst in process. Your role will be responsible for monitoring the production process and ensure all documentation is complete for all product’s manuals, size templates and colour standards are correct during the manufacturing process. You will be taking samples from food products and work with the Quality Supervisors as well as other team members to support with data collection and reporting trends; ensuring quality is maintained throughout the whole baking process and you will keep accurate and detailed records of all work. The company are based over two sites and have a great staff retention rate. The working environment is fast paced and friendly and will suit someone looking for a stable long term career. The Quality Control Technician: Comfortable working within a food manufacturing environment. High attention to detail and excellent organisational skills Able to adhere to H & S requirements. Experienced/ Qualified in food safety/ hygiene.
