Overview
We currently seek a Quality Assurance Technician for a food manufacturer based in Wrexham. Reporting to the Senior QA & QA Manager your area of key responsibility will be: Drive product quality and promote a positive QA culture Motivate and train production operatives to understand the importance of Quality Assurance in the workplace Support the QA supervisors technical management team with BRCGS certification and maintenance Be active in all areas of the factory daily ensuring high standards of GMP and system compliance are being achieved through auditing and 'walking the floor' HACCP Compliance Validate and verify product compliance, safety & legality. Review daily paperwork, legal process checks such as weight control, recipe validation & collection/submission of microbiological and environmental samples. Essential Skills & Competency Experience of working within a team to achieve results Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications to include but not limited to graph generation/pivot table Ability to plan & prioritise workload under pressure Problem Solving Can demonstrate a proactive approach to continuous improvement Desirable Food safety level 2/3 standard or equivalent HACCP level 2/3 with a good understanding of microbiology An experienced internal auditor If you would like to know more, please call on 01492 588 888 Benefits: Discounted/free food Casual dress On-site parking
