Purpose of Role We are looking for a Senior Quality Engineer, to drive the Consumer Inspired Quality agenda across the whole of the Chirk site. The role is key in ensuring products continually meet specification, regulatory compliance and deliver consumer satisfaction. This role is important with the operational management team to implement Quality Control plans in line with Integrated Lean 6 Sigma (IL6S) principles. Within this role, you will develop and manage systems for recording & validating critical to quality and critical to process parameters, define and build Process Control through plant Quality Management systems using statistical techniques. They will manage supplier quality for site including QN Management, RCA and reduction of supplier related quality incidents. You will train and coach the operational teams on all aspects of Quality, target projects to reduce Quality losses within manufacturing and supply chain (following the principles of IL6S). Main Responsibilities * Lead and live consumer inspired quality. * Manage supplier quality at site including cocoa beans, raw materials and packaging. Work with suppliers to reduce incidents and have clear CAPA in place. Utilise the SAP QN system to track. * Drive improvements in all aspects of operational Quality Management through day to day non-conformance management, line auditing, line coaching and plant reviews. * Participate, conduct and coach teams through internal investigations and root cause analyses, as per the internal NCR and CAPA procedures for any quality compliance incidents including, consumer & customer complaints, out of specification results, internal audits and factory/GMP issues. * Lead the site's compliance to Net Contents regulations. * Create, support and/or approve the maintenance of SOP's, work instructions & methodologies linked to specification compliance and consumer satisfaction. *
