Located at our Bristol depot and responsible for providing general day to day assistance and administrative support to our Purchasing and Quality functions, you’ll enjoy a broad-based office role, with a strong focus on enhancing the customer experience, which will involve: The input and processing of purchase orders, along with the production and distribution of product quality documentation to customers and depots Assisting the depot stock team in the effective and efficient purchasing, procurement and control of stock, as well as helping to ensure stock is received on time and in full Controlling stock levels and ensuring working capital is kept within targeted limits Carrying out stock control activities, to include regularly liaising with other Brenntag sites and suppliers in relation to delivery lead times, product availability and pricing Assisting with the logging and processing of customer complaints and where necessary helping with any related complaint investigations General administration tasks, including the filing and scanning of documents etc. Ideally, we’re looking for a genuine all-rounder, with proven experience in a similar support role, preferably including exposure to stock control/quality management systems, who is capable of handling incoming enquiries and can demonstrate: A good standard of education, along with a confident and professional telephone manner, as well as some involvement in the handling of customer complaints Strong communication skills and a passion for customer service , backed by a good level of PC literacy, including practical knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint etc. Strong attention to detail, plenty of flexibility, plus the ability to multi-task, as well as organise and prioritise a busy workload within a fast-paced environment In return, we can offer an attractive salary and benefits package, which includes company pension scheme, 25 days’ holiday (including the option to buy & sell) and free parking, as well as excellent training and development schemes.
