A modern fusion restaurant in Leeds is recruiting for a Junior Sous Chef to join the busy kitchen Role: A restaurant and bar that offers customers menus featuring contemporary Pan Asian fusion dishes prepared using cutting edge, authentic ingredients is recruiting for a Junior Sous Chef role.Working within a team of 15 chefs preparing up to 200 covers on busy nights this role of Junior Sous Chef will require you to assist the other senior chefs with ensuring that the restaurant spec sheets are followed, the team are organised and fully prepared for service times as well as taking charge of your own section in the kitchen. This would be a great opportunity for a chef who wishes to broaden their knowledge of Pan Asian cooking within a company that can offer you good career opportunities. Requirements: The Head Chef will consider CVs from Junior Sous Chefs or strong Chef de Parties who are ready to step up into their next role.A chef who has been working in high quality fresh food restaurants where you were cooking for large numbers of covers whilst maintaining the company standards would be ideal.Ideally chefs will already have had some Pan Asian experience although the training is very good so this is not essential.
