Junior Sous Chef - West Yorkshire £23k Per Annum Your New Employer My client operates a national portfolio of companies, including a 4 hotel. The hotel houses a sophisticated banqueting department along with a fine dining restaurant, offering creative menus using traditional and modern techniques. They are well known for providing weddings and conferences, alongside a number of banqueting events and restaurant dining. Their amazing site boasts several different food outlets, each offering a different dining experience- serving a high number of guests daily. They also offer an amazing fresh breakfast, daily, for their overnight guests. Your New Job The role requires autonomy of the team- aiding the Head Chef in the running of the team. The ideal candidate should be able to balance functionality & performance to fully support the business and the running of the kitchen- working with the management team in developing all aspects of the business. You will be highly motivated to provide a smooth and excellent dining operation- working closely with the operations team to ensure all areas of the customer experience are seamless. You will work to ensure your team can outperform all targets set- ensuring busy banqueting days run seamlessly and restaurant service is delivered to an exceptional brand standard. Your Experience You should have proven experience in a hotel background or a site offering fine-dining and banqueting menus. You should have experience of working towards GP targets and have a good knowledge of stock control. In addition, knowledge of working coherently within both banqueting and traditional restaurant kitchen set ups would be an advantage. In addition to being an amazing chef, you should also be a successful manager- being able to confidently manage your team in the absence of the Head Chef. Your Future As The Successful Candidate Working within this amazing hotel comes with a host of benefits. You will be rewarded with a salary of circa £22,000. You will work 40 hours per week across a mixture of days and shifts.
