Principal Software Engineer / Technical Architect • SaaS, C#, .Net Core, Azure, SQL, Microservices, Angular • Farnborough, Hampshire (Working from home options) - £80,000 - £95,000 The market leader in cloud-based avionic management SaaS products are looking for a Principal Software Engineer / Technical Architect to join in them in an exciting period of growth, due to winning several new bids and pieces of work. They are looking for a Principal Engineer to take on a role which will see you providing technical leadership and guidance across multiple teams, playing a key role in alignment and improvement of products towards a cloud-native microservice architecture You will be joining a diverse and growing team. Working within an Agile methodology, they work to shared ownership with a focus on Continuous Delivery. We are looking for a candidate comfortable hitting the ground running as you take a leading role in technology decisions driving the business expansion through scalable SaaS solutions. Role Requirements Strong hands-on skills and technical background in C# .Net & SQL, microservice / SOA architectures, and cloud native deployment on Azure. Experience running and developing distributed microservices, designing for high availability, scalability and low latency. You will have a track record in delivery with demonstratable experience in building working designs and implementations Alongside strong technical leadership skills, you will have maintained your hands-on skills for use when necessary. Desirable Skills Experience with Angular, Azure DevOps, CI, CD. Knowledge of AI/ML and their impact in the market Knowledge of weather mapping applications Experience with Azure Blockchain Service Knowledge of Native Mobile App development This is an exciting opportunity to join a team genuinely pushing the market forward.
