Role: Permanent Head of Engineering Location: Central London Salary: £100,000-£140,000 Ruby – Ruby on Rails – RSpec – Head of Engineering This is an excellent opportunity to work with an exciting start-up with a global corporate sponsor. This company have been around for circa 2 years, with their sponsor being in business for more than 100. – The opportunity to work for a growing start-up, with no financial instability They have an excellent company culture and are looking for someone to come in and take ownership of the role whilst leading and mentoring a team of 8 developers. You will be hands on 15%-20% of the time and the rest of the time you will be helping to make excellent business decisions to progress the organisation. You will have the core of the business at arm’s length, but will have the autonomy to manage and implement your own systems allowing for you to contribute to a truly unique working environment They are currently at a very exciting phase of growth as they continue to drive the success of the company forward. They work with cutting-edge technology and are passionate about working with best practices. You will be expected to work directly with members of the board and make critical business decisions. Ideally you will: Have 5 years’ experience working with Ruby. Be motivated Have excellent communication skills Have experience working with a start-up Experience working with scaling an organisation and making business decisions.
