Lead Java Developer - £70-100,000 Per annum This brilliant organisation based in the City of London, has had an exciting new tech investment and is now looking for an experienced and talented hands-on Java Lead Developer to join them and their teams - Be the technical lead for the front-end and back-end developers in your team. - Mentor and coach your team to become a highly motivated and highly efficient cross-functional unit. - use Java J2EE and Google Cloud Platform technologies to build and deliver a range of scalable micro-services through a RESTful API. - Work with DevOps to build a comprehensive set of CI/CD pipelines. Essential Skills - Experienced building scalable enterprise level solutions using Java J2EE - Experience architecting enterprise level applications - Experience using cloud PaaS, ideally Google Cloud Platform - Experience using cloud-based server-less technologies, message queues, caching technology, object storage solutions, data storage solutions (relational and NoSQL), API gateways, containers and container eco systems. - Write code with a TDD approach and experience working in projects achieving a high level of test automation preferably using a BDD approach - Experience managing, mentoring and evolving a team of developers Essential Skills ?? Highly experienced building scalable enterprise level solutions with Java J2EE ?? Experience architecting enterprise level applications ?? Experience using cloud PaaS preferably Google Cloud Platform ?? Experience using cloud based server-less technologies, message queues, caching technology, object storage solutions, data storage solutions (relational and NoSQL), API gateways, containers and container eco systems ?? Highly proficient at writing code with a TDD approach and experience working in projects achieving a high level of test automation preferably using a BDD approach ?? Experience using modern JavaScript frameworks preferably React ?? Experience with JavaScript, ES5, ES6 and TypeScript ?? Experience with NodeJS, Grunt, NPM ?? Experience managing, mentoring and evolving a small team of developers ?? Experience working in strong cross functional and self-organising Scrum Agile teams ?? Experience with Git based source control ?? Ability to identify options for potential solutions and assess them for technical and business suitability Resources available to me: ??
