Overview
We are looking for Project Managers who share our client's passion in the way projects are delivered by making data-led decisions. We are looking for you to increase business value, remove waste from change projects by utilising project data to empower teams and guide human behaviour. Candidates must have a consultancy background with recent experience with financial services clients on data projects. Job description and duties: You will lead the development, execution, and supervision of plans, policies, programs, and practices that deliver, control, protect, and enhance the value of clients data You will be leading mixed teams of data professionals and experts as well as customer resources, delivering data management projects with execution excellence you didn’t think was possible You will collaborate with senior stakeholders to put business value at the core of project delivery translating technical data concepts to business context You will create and own project/product visions to enable project teams to deliver outstanding business value You will create proposals, solutions and project scope whilst setting client expectations You will be working on projects at our customer’s offices across the UK as well as internal developments in our London office Required skills and experience: 4 years' work experience with an extensive technical and data background as a delivery/ project manager within a consultancy A deep understanding and hands-on with at least one of the following: data strategy, data quality, data insights, data governance, applied ML Technical knowledge including but not limited to data architecture, DQ, SQL, Python, R etc. Ability to create metrics and measurements of success Ability to build collaborative relationships, facilitating, challenging and bringing ideas together to solve problems Effective time management, prioritisation and organisational skills that ensure deadlines are met Track record of leading multi-disciplined, high performing and empowered teams to deliver complex end-to-end data projects Experience working in the financial services/insurance industry
