Overview
Our client is a global investment management organisation looking for a Legal Counsel / Commercial Contracts Lawyer to join their busy and growing in-house legal department. This is a varied and interesting role involving drafting and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts and agreements. The client is particularly keen on seeing candidates with experience of data license agreements and software license agreements. Based in London the ideal candidate will: Be a UK qualified solicitor with between 4 - 8 years PQE Have a background in drafting and negotiating data license agreements and software license agreements. A proven track record in their career to date and previous experience / training in an international law firm Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a commercial / business outlook to their work The role will be varied and will include a mix of commercial contracts, corporate governance, funds, commercial, IP, and data protection. Our client envisages that candidates between 4 and 8 years PQE plus will have the relevant skills / knowledge for this position, however this has been given as an approximate guide for applicants and our client is happy to consider the applications of candidates who fall outside of this PQE range but who have the relevant experience.
