Overview
Syndicate Technical Assistant London £32,000 We are currently looking for a Syndicate Technical Assistant on behalf of our client, a fast growing, innovative and entrepreneurial Lloyd's Syndicate. Reporting to the Technical Manager, the successful candidate will be involved in all day-to-day operational aspects of the Syndicate, as well as having the opportunity to get involved with interesting operational project work. Responsibilities Binding Authority and Lineslip Bordereaux management, including reconciliation, reporting and liaison with brokers and coverholders as appropriate. Production of placing documentation, such as MRCs and Endorsements, as required. Monitoring of Syndicate Credit Control and unallocated cash. General support of the Underwriting teams, including overseas offices. Monitoring and supporting of the outsource service provider. Supporting the Syndicate Head of Claims when required. Ad hoc reporting and operational project work. Requirements Previous experience in an Underwriting or Broking support role, or experience of working for Xchanging, is essential. Candidates must be able to work independently, or as part of a team, depending on the needs of the Syndicate. Cert CII qualification or higher is preferred. Proficiency in using London Market systems, such as Atlas, BARs, ECF2 and the IMR, is also preferred.
